During the lockdown government announced moritorium from payment of EMIs by those who had availed loans from banks and financial institutions. These bank and institutions demanded compound interest from loan takers.
The Supreme Court after a long battle fought held the said demand was illegal.
I represented the loan takers in this litigation before the Supreme Court.
